When a customer calls and nobody picks up, they get a text back.
Missed Call Recovery is a service for electricians, plumbers, HVAC companies, and other service businesses. When an incoming call goes unanswered, the caller receives an automatic text message so the business can follow up instead of losing the customer.
How it works
- A customer calls the business. The business is on a job, closed for the day, or already on another call, so the phone is not answered.
- The customer receives a text message at the number they called from, usually within one minute.
- The customer can reply to describe what they need. They can also reply STOP at any time to receive no further messages.
- The business follows up and contacts the customer directly.
How customers consent to receive messages
There is no sign-up form and no mailing list. Consent is established when the customer places a phone call to the business. A text message is sent only in reply to that inbound call, and only to the phone number that placed it.
We do not purchase, upload, rent, or import phone numbers from any source. A person who has not called the business will never receive a message.

If the customer replies, they receive follow-up messages about their request only. Message frequency varies and depends on the conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Replying STOP ends all messages immediately. Replying HELP returns support contact information.
